THE UTILISATION OF NIST AS A CYBERSECURITY FRAMEWORK IN HIGHER EDUCATION INSTITUTES DURING COVID-19

Research Project by Thomas Hughes / C00231519

About Me & The Project

My name is Thomas Hughes and this is my final year project. This is a research project that explores and challenges Higher Education Institutes ability to operate in the expansive security challeneg that is hybrid learning during the COVID-19 lockdowns.

The project discusses attacks, the security climate, the standards set by the NIST cyber security framework, and includes an audit to fully gauge the success of an example HEI.

The project document is my findings in the research. The research was carried out with the use of a NIST Cybersecurity Framework Audit and a Cybersecurity Readiness Survey I had conducted.
