Social Engineering happens when an Attacker manipulates victims into giving away sensitive information which could be personal or work related. These types of attack can be divided into categories like Phishing, Vishing, Pretexting, Baiting, etc.
About Social Engineering Awareness
This project was made to make elderly people more aware of the danger online and not to trust everything they read. It also has a quiz to test your knowledge on social engineering that employers can edit for their employees.
The Project
Social Engineering Attacks
In this project I researched many types of social engineering attacks, which are available in the project in more detail. These are highly used everyday by malicious users to bait or trick people into giving away sensitive information.
Awareness
This project was made to spread awareness of the ongoing social engineering attacks, with elderly being especially more vulnerable to them than any other age group. This project was made to help those who do not know what social engineering is.
