Every year thousands of people throughout the country find themselves in need of cancer services. Local Cancer Support charities provide these people with transport to and from their essential appointments by volunteer drivers organised by staff using pen and paper. DriveCare aims to offer a better solution to this outdated process.
DriveCare provides an administrative portal for staff within Cancer Supports to manage information about transported patients, volunteer drivers and serviced hospitals. This information can be used to generate optimised routes for drivers to ensure that patients arrive to their appointments on time.
