Floral Footsteps is an educational walking simulator game.
The player is transported into a beautiful forest, where they are tasked
with finding all the various plants that are scattered around.
With each plant they pick up they learn more and more about them!
Explorable Forest!
Cosy Aesthetic!
Collectible flowers!
Atmospheric music!
Educational!
My inspiration for the project was my love for nature and gaming. I wanted to combine these two to create something cosy, relaxing and yet educational.
I wanted to create something that will give off the same feeling as walking in a forest. I decided to challenge myself with using a game engine, so I chose to learn and use Godot.
I used Blender to model most of the assets scattered around the world.
