Food Tracking System

System to track food expiry dates and provide insights to help reduce food waste and save money

Reduce household food waste to help the environment and help users save some money

the user can scan the barcode of a product and enter the item with its best before or expiry date into their list,

the item can then be marked as thrown out or used, which comes up on the dashboard of how much that user has saved over time

Users can manage their household and add other users to the household so all data is stored in one place

My name is kelan morgan, I'm a 4th year software development student at SETU Carlow

I have a keen interest in making software that helps people in any way possible, such as this project to reduce food waste and save money.
