Who is this website for?
This website is aimed at organisations who may not know about the European Accessibility Act or may want more info into the types of Accessibility Features they need to implement, by consolidating it and making it easier to understand.
This website will primarily focus on implementation of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines with a target of users with visual impairment, but will branch out into other topics aswell.
This website is also aimed at developers and security professionals who may want to know more about the security risks associated with accessibility features.
Overall, this website has been made to help organisations help users who cannot interface with devices in the same way as others. It is the goal of this project to open dialogues between organisations and ensure that they are catering to all of their consumers.
Accessibility Tool Support
This website is designed to be able to interface correctly with a screen reader, and it is recommended that you attempt to do so while using this website to fully understand the "why" behind each of the features. Whilst Microsoft Narrator can be used, a dedicated Screen Reader such as NVDA, which is free and open source, is preferred.
NVDA can be installed here
